Welcome to Brenda's Baking! I'm so glad you've made it to my little corner of the internet.
As a farm girl growing up in central Alberta, I learned to love cooking and baking by helping my Mom provide plain but wholesome meals for our family of ten. There's just something so special about creating something sweet and delicious that brings people together and warms their hearts.
In 1990, we moved to the beautiful North Okanagan City of Enderby, where we raised our 5 children. When cooking for my own family, I realized just how much of a difference using the highest quality local ingredients (abundant here in the Okanagan!) made.
With this in mind, I decided to revamp my family’s recipes to make them even more loveable! Today, we offer a huge assortment of baked goodies (and even vegan options!) everyone loves.

What's a Cinnamon Hug?
The Cinnamon Hug name came about because I felt that cinnamon rolls are the ultimate comfort food, and locals always say ours make them feel like they’re being wrapped up in a big hug!
I've lost count of how many people have told me it's the best thing they've ever tasted.
But don't take my word for it. Try one for yourself!
I also make locally-famous sourdough bread and a variety of tasty treats I sell at farmer's markets. I've been doing this for decades, and it brings me so much joy to see people enjoying my baking.
